Fashions Night Out- pt 2

Can’t stop adding to my Fashions Night Out “MUST-HIT LIST”

Slumber Party at Alice + Olivia
Stop by at alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet (755 Madison Ave.) to partake in the ultimate girly-girl slumber party. Guests will dance along to top 80s songs and watch slumber party chick flicks while enjoying sweet treats. Best of all, you will get to browse and shop the boutiques for the latest fall frocks! Additional incentives include a braid bar, manicure and charm bracelet stations, tattoo booths, and palm readers to read your fashionable future.

Celeb-Fest at DVF
Head to DVF’s meatpacking shop (874 Washington Street) to hang out with GirlsAllison Williams and Vogue‘s Meredith Melling Burke, all while receiving styling advice from a Vogue editor and makeup touch-ups from MAC artists. When you are done primping, you will have a chance to ask a fortune teller to look into your celestial future, while enjoying cocktails and desserts. Did I mention that the super stylish DJ Solange Knowles will be there, too?

Closet 2 Closet with Opening Ceremony
Calling all budding designers. Make sure to trek down to the Ace Hotel (1190-1192 Broadway) for Opening Ceremony‘s FNO experience which includes meeting Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Band of Outsiders, Stevie J and Yoni P, and Tara Subkoff from Imitation of Christ, who will be there to participate in the “Closet2Closet” initiative, offering fun and one-of-a-kind items from their closets to be sold at FNO. Proceeds from this special sale will be donated to Broome Street Academy.

The Shops at Target Pop Up
Join Target (441 W. 14th St.) for its fall installment of “The Shops at Target” featuring New York City’s Odin and Kirna Zabete, Boston’s Patch NYC, and San Francisco’s The Curiosity Shoppe. The one-night-only, pop-up shop will give New Yorkers the chance to shop the collections before they launch at Target stores nationwide and on Target.com. It’s probably best if you start lining up now.
